As a new homeowner with a yard. I am on the look out for natural solutions to lives tiny creatures.

Natural Insecticide:

Add onions and garlic to a jar of water, let it stand for a week and spray garden plants with it.

I haven't tried this out, but it is worth a shot.

Who would steal from Paula Deen?

Apparently this lady:


Paula Deen's former maid has been arrested for allegedly stealing $100,000 in jewlery. Mary Alice White has been arrested twice in the last month, after she tried to sell some of the jewlery to local pawn shops.

How could she do that to Paula?

In honor of "National Doughnut Day", our GM purchased 10 dozen doughnuts from Top Pot Doughnuts in Bellevue. They were listed as one of the top ten doughnut places, nationwide, according to MSN this morning. Top Pot are known for their unique donuts: Pink Feather Boa, a plain cake doughnut topped with bright pink frosting and cocount shavings. YUM!
